About Kavit

Practical business software built around how Indian SMEs actually work.

Kavit is a business management product for Indian small and medium businesses. We focus on everyday operating workflows that are often still handled through registers, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages and disconnected software.

Who builds Kavit?

Kavit is built and reviewed by people working directly on the software's attendance, leave, salary, billing, inventory and business-management workflows.

That direct product work is also the basis for much of the practical content published on this site. When we explain how Kavit works, compare workflow approaches or publish a calculator, the goal is to describe the current product and the operating problem accurately — not to invent capabilities for a search result.

What Kavit content is designed to do

Our guides and tools are written for business owners and administrators trying to solve real operational questions: how to record attendance, how different salary divisors affect LOP, how to manage multiple workplaces, or when a software-led attendance workflow may be simpler than dedicated hardware.

Where a page discusses Kavit, we aim to distinguish clearly between what the product supports now and what it does not. For example, Kavit's attendance and salary workflow is not presented as a full statutory payroll system for PF, ESI or TDS.

How we create and review content

Product claims are reviewed against current Kavit behaviour and product decisions. Calculator logic is tested with worked examples. Where a topic depends on external rules, regulations or another company's product, we use relevant primary or official sources where practical rather than treating Kavit's product experience as a substitute for those sources.

AI-assisted tools may be used during research, drafting or editing. Published product claims, calculations and final pages are reviewed by the Kavit Product Team. We do not use fabricated author identities, credentials, customer stories or reviews to make content appear more authoritative.

Corrections and updates

Kavit changes as the product develops. Our articles show published and last-updated dates so readers can see when a guide was reviewed. If a product workflow changes materially, the related content should be updated rather than kept online with knowingly outdated claims.
